Update June 2, 2026: I found a collection of Rai’s most iconic photos (including these two) in a book entitled Picturing Time and got it from Barnes & Noble for $40. What I received appears to be a photocopied bootleg, printed on thin paper with nowhere near the deep contrast blacks shown above. I hope the publisher cleans this up, particularly now that Rai has passed and these books should showcase his legacy in the best possible light.
